This study aims to analyze the influence of the perception and understanding of entrepreneurship on the decision of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students to become entrepreneurs. This study uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 100 student respondents. The data was analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study show that understanding entrepreneurship has a positive and significant influence on students' decisions to become entrepreneurs. In addition, the perception of entrepreneurship also shows a positive influence, albeit with varying degrees of significance. Simultaneously, the perception and understanding of entrepreneurship has a significant effect on students' decisions to become entrepreneurs. These findings confirm the importance of improving student knowledge, mindset, and motivation related to entrepreneurship. This study concludes that strengthening entrepreneurship education and institutional support is needed to encourage students not only to become job seekers, but also job creators.
